WebOct 19, 2010 · Bato87 is right. If you want them to wear a specific outfit make sure its the only apparel in there inventory. If you notice they arnt putting it on its because they wont wear it. If you give them multiple sets of armor they will wear the armor with the highest DT (damage threshold). Quite unfortunate that they only wear certain apparel. WebDec 16, 2015 · 1 Answer. The ability to use different skins for your companions is restricted to paying customers -- either by subscribing to the game or purchasing the "Crew Member Authorization" unlock from the Cartel Coin store. That is kinda poor business. I mean not even team fortress 2 isn't that bad with free to plays.
